The Kama Gear Cage. A new way to run your Kamado rotisserie. Built for serious spinning sessions, it unlocks true cage cooking — effortless control, crowd-ready capacity and total versatility.
Built Different
Unlike other rotisserie baskets, the spit rod does not run through your food. No puncturing. No tearing. No compromise.
Inside the Cage
- Tumbler Basket – Built for wings, potatoes and veg. Holds up to 6kg of wings.
- Flat Basket – Designed for whole chickens, fish, beef roasts and game birds. Fits up to 3 large chickens.
- Adjustable Divider – Split the cage into separate cooking zones. Ideal when cooking different styles of wings and you don’t want them mixing.
- Engineered to fit the V2 OG and V2 Max models. Also compatible with our earlier V1 models and most other Kamado rotisserie systems. On some V1 and third-party models, a minor adjustment to the rod that fits into the motor may be required. Any modification must be carried out by a qualified professional.

What can I cook in the Cage?
The Cage keeps things simple. Throw it on, crack open a drink, and let the fire do the work. Whether you're cooking for a crowd or just fancy something different, there's loads you can cook. A few favourites:

- Whole joints of Pork, Beef, Lamb,
- Game and poultry
Will the Cage fit my Kamado?
We include a selection of rod sizes in the box to fit a wide range of kamado models.
To keep the overall product cost as low as possible, we can't manufacture a dedicated rod for every third-party or older model. As a result, some V1 and third-party barbecues may require the rod to be professionally trimmed to the correct length for installation.

How easy is the Cage to clean?
The Cage is made from high-quality 304 stainless steel, making it dishwasher safe for easy cleaning at home.
If the Cage is particularly greasy after a cook, we recommend soaking it first with a little degreaser before placing it in the dishwasher for the best results.
Can the Cage really hold 6kg of Chicken wings?
